Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Last updated: July 3, 2026
PyFi (“PyFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides online education, training, software demonstrations, and related services for finance and technology professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit pyfi.com, go.pyfi.com, or another website or service that links to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Information you provide
- Contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and job title.
- Account and enrollment information, such as course registrations, program participation, preferences, and communications with us.
- Transaction information, such as products purchased, purchase date, amount, and transaction status. Payment card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored directly by PyFi.
- Communications, including questions, survey responses, testimonials, support requests, and other messages you send us.
- Event and community information, such as webinar attendance, live-session participation, chat messages, and feedback.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- browser type, device type, operating system, and device identifiers;
- pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and time spent on the Services;
- advertising identifiers and information about whether an ad led to a visit, registration, or purchase;
- cookie identifiers and similar online activity data; and
- diagnostic, security, and performance information.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from advertising and analytics partners, payment processors, course and event platforms, referral partners, and publicly available sources. For example, an advertising platform may tell us that a person viewed or clicked one of our ads, or may provide aggregated campaign performance information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- process purchases, registrations, and course access;
- communicate about programs, events, updates, and support requests;
- send marketing communications where permitted by law;
- personalize content and understand which offers may be relevant;
- measure advertising performance and attribute visits, registrations, or purchases to ads;
- create and manage advertising audiences, including retargeting audiences;
- detect fraud, protect the Services, and enforce our agreements;
- comply with law and respond to lawful requests; and
- support business operations, reporting, and internal analysis.
We may combine information collected through different parts of the Services and from the providers described in this policy for these purposes.
3. Cookies, Meta Pixel, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, local storage, and server-side event tools. Some are necessary for the Services to work. Others help us understand traffic, remember preferences, measure marketing, and show relevant advertising.
We use Meta Business Tools, which may include the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. When these tools are active, Meta may collect or receive information from the Services and elsewhere on the internet, including device information, cookie identifiers, pages visited, and actions such as registrations or purchases. Meta may use this information to provide measurement services, match activity to users, build or refine audiences, and target and deliver ads in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. This collection may occur whether or not you are logged into a Meta account.
You can manage non-essential cookies through the Cookie Settings link on our site. You can also adjust advertising preferences through Meta’s settings and use industry opt-out tools at YourAdChoices and NAI Consumer Opt Out. Browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies, although parts of the Services may not work as expected.
Where required, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that help us host websites, process payments, deliver courses, manage registrations, send communications, provide customer support, secure the Services, and analyze performance.
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Meta, to measure campaigns, understand activity, create audiences, and deliver or limit advertising.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or security issues, or enforce agreements.
- Business transaction participants in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some U.S. privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include disclosing identifiers or internet activity to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising or retargeting. You may opt out of these activities as described in Sections 3 and 8.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide Services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable law. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting passwords and account credentials associated with any third-party platform used to access our programs.
7. Email and Marketing Choices
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional communications, such as purchase confirmations, service notices, program logistics, and responses to your requests.
8. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
- obtain a portable copy of certain personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling;
- limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information;

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you wish to appeal.
California residents may also have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources and purposes of collection, and the categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
9. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.
If applicable law gives you a privacy right regarding information we hold, contact us at support@pyfi.com, and we will review your request under applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
