Terms of Service
Effective date: July 3, 2026 · Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of pyfi.com, go.pyfi.com, and any PyFi course, program, live session, recording, code, template, community, or related service that links to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”).
These Terms are an agreement between you and Machine Learning Edge, Inc. d/b/a PyFi (“PyFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to purchase or use paid Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Educational Services Only
PyFi provides education and training relating to Python, artificial intelligence, machine learning, finance, analytics, automation, and related subjects.
The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only. PyFi does not provide personalized investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, employment, or other professional advice. Nothing in the Services is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, financial product, or investment.
Examples, datasets, models, projections, outputs, and demonstrations may be simplified, hypothetical, fictional, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for independently evaluating information and consulting qualified professionals before making financial, investment, business, or legal decisions.
3. Purchases and Payment
Prices and included features are shown at checkout or on the applicable offer page. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase information and authorize our payment provider to charge the displayed amount and any clearly disclosed taxes or fees.
Unless expressly identified as a subscription or payment plan at checkout, a purchase is a one-time payment. We will not create recurring charges unless the recurring price and frequency are clearly disclosed before purchase and separately authorized by you.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. PyFi does not directly store complete payment card numbers.
4. Refunds
PyFi offers a full refund when requested within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date. No explanation is required. Refund requests and processing are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
After a refund is issued, access to the refunded Services and related materials may be discontinued.
5. Access and Delivery
Access instructions may be delivered by email or through a third-party learning, webinar, communication, or community platform. You are responsible for providing a working email address, checking filtered or spam folders, and maintaining equipment and internet access reasonably necessary to participate.
The access period and included features are those stated on the applicable offer page or at checkout. If an offer expressly promises lifetime access, “lifetime” means for as long as PyFi continues to own and make that product available, subject to law. PyFi may migrate content to another platform or replace materials with substantially equivalent versions.
6. Live Programs and Recordings
Dates, instructors, topics, and delivery formats for live programs may occasionally change because of illness, technical problems, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If PyFi makes a material change, we will provide reasonable notice and an appropriate replacement session, recording, rescheduling option, or other remedy.
Some sessions may be recorded. We will provide notice when recording is active. If you do not want your name, image, voice, screen, or chat message included, you should keep your camera and microphone off, avoid sharing identifying information, and contact us about available participation options.
7. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. You may not share, sell, transfer, or provide account access to another person unless PyFi gives written permission. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
8. License and Intellectual Property
The Services and their contents, including videos, text, graphics, course materials, recordings, templates, branding, and PyFi-created code, are owned by PyFi or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms and any license included with particular code or materials, PyFi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased materials for your own personal learning or internal professional work.
Unless we expressly permit it in writing or an accompanying license allows it, you may not:
- reproduce, republish, upload, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Services or materials;
- share course access or recordings with others;
- remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
- use the materials to create or sell a competing course, training product, or content library; or
- scrape, systematically download, or use the Services to train an artificial intelligence model.
You retain ownership of material you submit to us. If you submit questions, feedback, comments, or other content through the Services, you give PyFi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, and improve the Services. We will obtain separate permission before publicly using your name, likeness, or testimonial for marketing where required by law.
9. Code, Models, and AI Outputs
Code, spreadsheets, prompts, models, and AI-generated outputs provided through the Services may contain errors, security issues, biases, or unsuitable assumptions. They may also stop working because third-party software, APIs, models, or data sources change.
You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and validating materials before using them with real data or in production. Do not upload confidential, regulated, personal, or sensitive information to a third-party AI service unless you have authority to do so and have assessed the provider’s terms and privacy practices.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to:
- violate law or another person’s rights;
- distribute malware, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorized access;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive another person;
- submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful material;
- disrupt live sessions or communities; or
- use PyFi’s name, branding, or instructor identities to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
PyFi may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms. When reasonably appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the violation.
11. Third-Party Services
The Services may depend on or link to third-party platforms, software, APIs, payment processors, websites, or content. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. PyFi does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, although this does not limit responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. No Guaranteed Results
PyFi does not guarantee that you will obtain employment, promotion, certification, income, investment returns, cost savings, technical proficiency, or any other particular result. Outcomes depend on many factors outside PyFi’s control, including your experience, participation, implementation, market conditions, and decisions.
Testimonials and examples describe individual experiences and are not promises that you will achieve the same result.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” PyFi disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. PyFi does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, or compatible with every device or third-party product.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of this section may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PyFi and its owners, personnel, instructors, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PyFi’s total liability for a claim arising from or related to a paid Service will not exceed the amount you paid PyFi for that Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free Service, total liability will not exceed US $100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold PyFi harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to claims caused by PyFi’s own unlawful conduct.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. PyFi may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay an amount due, or misuse the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions.
17. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms. Changes apply prospectively from the posted effective date. If a change materially affects an existing paid Service, we will provide reasonable notice where required by law. Changes will not retroactively reduce a refund right or core benefit already purchased without an appropriate remedy.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction.
Before filing a claim, you and PyFi agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after written notice. Send notices to support@pyfi.com and include enough information to understand and evaluate the issue.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
19. General Terms
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any product-specific terms presented at purchase, form the agreement between you and PyFi regarding the Services. If product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms control for that product.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. PyFi’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without PyFi’s written consent. PyFi may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
